Thanks for stopping by, my name is Andy Alexander. I'm a playback engineer & instrument technician. I work with musicians, setting up synthesizers & drums for live concerts or studio performances. These days, a big part of my job is also setting up audio/midi computers & managing networks that support the performance.
When I am not on tour, I operate a studio, collect LPs & musical instruments. Here is some of my work experience:

I recorded the multitrack audio from Moby's orchestral concert at Seattle's McCaw Hall on December 6, 2018, as part of KEXP's annual Yule Benefit. In this concert, Moby performed his hits accompanied by members of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra, conducted by Emil de Cou. This event is featured in the documentary Moby Doc (2021), which includes footage from this performance.

Email me for tips on integrating backing tracks, MIDI hardware control, autotune, redundancy, and other live performance essentials. I love helping musicians and understand how tough it is to make a living in music, so I offer a sliding scale for consulting, design, and labor.
